VAR-SMARC-MX95

1. Introduction¶

Powered by the NXP i.MX 95, the VAR-SMARC-MX95 is a SMARC-compliant SoM featuring up to 6 Arm Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz, alongside a 333MHz Arm Cortex-M33 and an 800MHz Arm Cortex-M7 for dedicated real-time processing. The module supports premium graphics rendering, hardware security, functional safety, built-in NPU with 2 TOPS AI/ML capabilities, and a broad range of wired and wireless interfaces. These include certified dual-band Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax/ac/a/b/g/n, Bluetooth/BLE 5.4 with optional 802.15.4, dual Gigabit Ethernet with TSN, robust 2D/3D GPU, 4K video encoding and decoding, 4K display output, dual MIPI CSI-2 camera, PCIe Gen 3.0 x2, and USB 3.0.

The VAR-SMARC-MX95 is part of the VAR-SMARC Pin2Pin Family, enabling seamless scalability between performance tiers without redesigning the carrier board.
